“In her latest project as well, which Jutta Bosch developed while listening to famous arias sung by Callas, the artist makes it possible for us not only to hear the fundamentally incorporeal music, but also to see it. For just like the individual notes of a melody flicker up and ebb away before being replaced by the next note, the respective images of the audiovisual flow of colors appear to unfold from the previous image, before flowing into the following one. Despite all the precision of her work, Jutta Bosch is not concerned with arranging individual images like a bookkeeper, she is concerned with stimulating diverse optical frequencies to such an extent that the individual wavelengths merge into an immediate visual impression. As individual phenomena they are the painted equivalent of the created visual image in the artist’s perception. In their entirety, they are a visual trail of perceived (inner) world. Jutta Bosch does not illustrate the contents of the arias - she is concerned with the physical, intellectual and spiritual reactions to these realities."
