Omar Zoboli

{ Biography }: The Italian oboist Omar Zoboli was a student of S. Possidoni and H. Holliger. and in 1978 he won the first prize at the International Wind Competition in Ancona as well as at the Italian Radio Competition in Turin. He has made appearances at many music festivals in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw and made recordings on both the modern and Baroque oboe for several record labels. Bussotti, Castiglioni, Glass, Hoch and others have dedicated works to him. Since q988 he has been teaching at the Music Academy in Basel, Switzerland.
