The EOS GUITAR QUARTET was founded in 1985 and is one of the most high-profile ensemble in the world. It is regularly invited to major intrnational guitar festivals and hias performed at renowned concert halls.
In its arrangement by the EOS GUITAR QUARTET, Astor Piazzolla’s four seasons, the Estanciones Porteñas, form the framework of this recording. Between the seasons one may discover the cuban composer Leo Brouwer, the brazilian composer Sergio Assad as well as Paulo Bellinati. Furthermore, there is one special homage to Astor Piazolla, composed by the Swiss composer Jacques Demierre.
