Zürcher Oboenquartett

Martin Gebhardt (oboe) was born and grew up in Basel. He studied at the Music Academies in Rotterdam and Zurich and receive his concert diploma in 1988 after completing his studies with Prof. Thomas Indermühle in Zurich. Until 1998 Martin Gebhardt was active as solo oboist in various orchestras. How he devotes all his energy to chamber music, solo concerts and teaching.

Kathrin Brun (alto oboe) grew up in Zug, where she received her earliest oboe instruction. Initially, she studied chemistry at the University in Zurich, but she gradually intensified her music studies. Kathrin Brun was already an experienced concert artist when she joined the Zurich Oboe Quartet in summer 2000.

Marc Jacot (bassoon) received his training from Tomasz Sosnowsky at the Conservatory in Zurich, where he earned an orchestra diploma in 1992. After working for the orchestra in Porto (Portugal) he studied with Prof. Eckhart Hübner in Basel. In 1997 he completed his concert examinations with distinction at the Music Academy in Basel. Marc Jacot is a member of the Oper Orchestra in Zurich.

Miriam Moser (tenor oboe) grew up in Winterthur and studied with Professors Hans Elhorst and Thomas Indermühle. She completed her studies in 1989 with concert diploma at the Music Academy in Zurich. After years of intensive orchestral experience, particularly at the Opera in Zurich, she now concertrates primarily on chamber music.
