CappellAntiqua is a young, international ensemble performing Ancient Music with a special interest on interpretations of Italian early baroque vocal music. The ensemble focuses especially compositions for multiple chorus and performs them with soloist singers.

Bernhard Pfammatter is a very interesting conductor of the new generation of early vocal music artists. He took up conducting at the age of 16. Today he leads the «Vocal Ensemble Novantiqua Bern», that has already been awarded several times. In 1997 Bernhard Pfammatter took a half sabbatical at the Swiss Institute in Rome, where he studied unpublished motetes and oratorios from roman sources and made transcriptions for his ensemble. Since 1998 he was nominated Guest conductor of the «Coro da Camera Italiano» in Rome and choir conductor of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Bern/Biel.
